Description: We're going to let the author tell you about his unusual and wonderful book in his own words: "Golf has been my passion since I began playing seven years ago. Some time ago, I realized something was missing from my golf game. To make a long story short my desire to be the best golfer that I could be made me a better human being. It led me to the worlds of religion, philosophy, martial arts and self-help. Through this journey, I discovered that the lessons of Life could be found in pursuit of my passion...the game of golf.

"The underlying theme is that the game of golf mirrors the game of life, and the lessons learned -- about awareness, understanding, acceptance and enjoyment -- are interchangeable.

"I've written my own ideas and compiled them with insights from people in all walks of life, from Arnold Palmer and Confucius to Sam Snead and Mark Twain, from Nancy Lopez, Jack Nicklaus and Bobby Jones to Jane Austen, Yogi Berra and Bobby Knight. Gary's wonderful paintings blended perfectly with my vision.
