If God is seeking true worshippers it means they are indeed scarce, rare and difficult to find like searching for a needle hidden in a stack of hay or as tedious a task as finding the exact grain of sand on the beach. When Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well, the central teaching that He communicates to us is about true worship and the characteristics that mark true worshipers. It's the Savior's uncanny way of starting this rather unusual glimpse in this woman's life.
